Ms. Poovarasi V is a licensed Clinical Psychologist (RCI registered) with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD). She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Saveetha Medical College and a B.Sc. in Psychology from Women’s Christian College. She has experience working across both government and NGO sectors, delivering psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions. Her areas of expertise include child and adolescent mental health, behaviour modification, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT). She has worked extensively with individuals experiencing disabilities, depression, anxiety, OCD, neuropsychological conditions, and dementia. She is deeply committed to psychosocial rehabilitation and is actively involved in mentoring and training aspiring mental health professionals.
